HIking Pokhara to Australian camp to Dhampus to Phedi to Pokhara

This Pokhara Dhampus hike is a short and easy hike around the Annapurna region.  This trek is especially designed to those people who has less time to spend and who cannot walk for long time, but want to enjoy the view of the nature and mountains.  This trek offers a beautiful view of Annapurna range, Dhaulagiri range, and Pokhara valley. 

Trek starts from driving to Kande.  This is about 1 hour drive.  Road passes between beautiful green lands and hills.  Upon reaching Kande, we will start our trek to Australian Camp which is about 2060 m.  It is an easy trek.  We will follow the trail which is gentle uphill through beautiful villages and green lands.  It will take about 1 hour to reach Australian Camp – a perfect place to get a good view of the valley and surrounding mountain range.  Cool breeze will make you feel fresh and lively.  We will have our lunch here and spend some time here exploring the beauty of the nature and mountains.  After that we will descend to reach Dhampus.  To walk, the local community has made a stone stairs, making it easy to ascend and descend.  This path passes through forest and villages of Gurung community.  After 2 hours of walk, we will now reach Phedi where our vehicle will take you to Pokhara.
